With today's Internet being as it is, having strong enough passwords for online accounts is crucial. However, following all the security suggestions and actually remembering all your passwords are not things that can be done together, unless you use a password manager. Made by the same people who've brought us the excellent TunnelBear, RememBear keeps all your passwords safe and it does everything in style, just like its counterpart. The software incorporates all the modern security measures to make your database as secure as possible, as well as everything you need to log into your accounts on the fly, without having to commit anything to memory, except for one master password.

The software is offered free of charge and it is available for Windows, Mac OS X and for Android and iOS mobile platforms. What's more, RememBear comes as a Google Chrome extension as well, while Safari and Firefox versions are on their way. The installation process is quick and it doesn't involve any advanced configurations.

When launched for the first time, RememBear will ask you to create a master password. Additionally, it will offer to print out a backup kit, which is your one and only lifeline in case you forget your password. When all preparations are complete, you may access the main user interface, where you can store account passwords, as well as credit card information.

The efficient layout of the interface allows you to create and manage new entries on the fly. They are all listed in alphabetical order in the middle area of the window and you can view or edit their contained information in the larger area on the right. Creating a new entry is a simple matter of filling in the appropriate input fields. When it comes to specifying a password, you can use RememBear's built-in password generator, to create long and complex strings.

Thanks to the application's auto-fill capabilities, your passwords can be as long and complex as you want, because you don't have to remember them. If you wish to log into one of your accounts, you only need to click one button and the software will immediately take you to the login page, on your default browser, and fill in your username and password automatically.

The browser extension can make things even easier. It lets you select your saved accounts on your browser's interface, which will log you into those accounts immediately. Furthermore, a RememBear icon will show up in the input fields on all sign in or sign up pages, to help you create passwords, login in faster or add an account to the database immediately, if you don't have it saved.

RememBear streamlines everything that has to do with logging into online accounts and it lets you do it in a comfortable and elegant fashion.

Pros

You can save your passwords in a secure database. The software comes with a built-in password generator. It also has auto-fill capabilities. Its general design is efficient and quite fun.

Cons

There are no obvious design flaws or functionality gaps to point out.
